Primitive Solid Walnut 2 Door Bookcase Display Cabinet C1890

Look at the simple and yet so elegant design of this French country gem. Notice the diamond shaped appliqués and the split-glazed glass doors. Look at the wood quality and the patina and the provincial bun-feet. Notice that there is a key for all of the drawers and doors.  The crown molding and the small inlays situated just under the molding is the only claim to formality this cabinet even tries to portend. The finish and the cabinet appear to be entirely original and are lacking any signs of significant wear, but some dings and dimples should be expected as this piece dates to the 1890s.

The cabinet measures 76 3/4"T x 47 1/2"W x 17"D and is ready to take home or have delivered today.
