The Costa Rican crafts carried by Maderas Exquisitas (Exquisite Woods) are primarily made from Cocobolo (Dalbergia Refusa), commonly referred to as Rosewood. Because it is a limited resource, the harvesting of this wood is strictly controlled by the government of Costa Rica.
