This lot of 7 fine linens will give you pleasure each time you choose one to set off your vintage treasures. I tried, with some of my treasures, to help you imagine them as you might use them. I hope it helps. The first piece is very fine cotton with drawn thread work two inches in from the hemmed edge, with 1 3/4" hand crochet lace edging the cloth. The size is approximately 34" square. There is a tiny two pinhead size hole on one corner but otherwise is in EX condition. The second piece is also a small cloth, 36" x 36", trimmed in crochet picot edging. It has satin stitch pink, blue and lavender flowers. This piece is monogrammed with "GWD". A strategically place item can of course, cover that problem if you don't happen to have those initials! Cloth is in EX condition except for a pinhead size hole, see photo. The third piece is a dresser scarf in fine cotton with drawn thread work at the edge of the hem on both ends and has fine crochet lace edging the scarf and an inset on each end. EX condition. Number four is ecru linen or blend with a 3" embroidered and cut work flowered border measuring 30" x 32", also EX condition. Number five is a small white cotton cloth with drawn thread work at the hem and forming a square in the center. It is approximately 30" square. Six is a lovely doily of tulips in a slightly rosy ecru that does not come out quite right in the photo. It is extremely well done. The last is a white crochet table runner of great big roses. Though I pressed the crochet work they will look much better when properly blocked. stains or holes; one small rust mark on a bit of lace. I did not try to remove it. Piece number three is a long dresser scarf perfect for a sideboard or buffet. It measures 63" x 18". It has crochet lace around the edge and white on white satin embroidery on each end and in the center of one side. This would also look lovely on a shelf with the embroidery and lace hanging. Number four is a pretty scarf, 43" x 16" with machine embroidery of red flowers and scrolling leaves and flowers. Number five is a small star doily with lacy edges, just right to set of the color of a small vase. Six and seven are a pair of guest towels, and they make great napkins with machine embroidery of a cardinal and a robin. Smoke free home. Shipping & handling: USPS I do combine shipping. I will gift wrap w/card, for a 55 cent materials cost, and ship to the recipients address. International bidders please email for shipping cost.
