This auction is for a rare, 1920-1930 (The tract's history section opens with: "Over 80 years ago," referring to 1844/Bab), New York/The Baha'i Publishing Committee "Principles of the Baha'i Faith." This tract/pamphlet is from the library of Mountfort Mills, Harvard graduate (1900), prominent New York attorney (and counsel for the Baha'i National Spiritual Assembly . . . e.g., authoring the original By-Laws), "distinguished and international champion" of the Baha'i Cause (e.g., "Chairman" or "President of the National Spiritual Assembly," host to Abdu'l- Baha, “dearly-beloved friend and fellow-worker” of Shoghi Effendi, etc.), advocate for world peace (e.g., Baha'i, League of Nations, etc.), world traveler, patron of the arts, etc. As pictured, this approximately 3 1/4 X 5 1/4 inch, 16 page, blue soft cover is in good condition! There are no markings inside or out, there are no rips/tears, the pages remain bright, the binding is tight, the cover is good, etc. I am not a dealer, so please email me with any questions, requests for additional pictures, etc. I am happy to reply. I am listing this "as is," exceedingly brief introduction, history, and summary of the Baha'i faith to start at less than $3.00! This will make a wonderful addition to ANY collection or library, a GREAT gift for the Baha'i historian/collector on your gift list, a nice reference item, etc. Thanks for your interest and happy bidding . . .
I ship items the same day that I recieve payment, save Sundays, holidays, or at the buyer's request. As always, I am happy to provide insurance or other services to buyers, but the choice to request and/or purchase additional services are yours. International shipping will be calculated upon request (Please do check in before bidding) and international buyers must use paypal. In addition, any/all import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the international buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up. Please do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. Finally, I will not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "‘gifts," as U.S. and international government regulations obviously prohibit such behavior.
As noted above, I am not a dealer and my items are sold "as is," so please shop with care, ask questions, request additional pictures, do your research, etc., etc. However, as you can see from my comprehensive descriptions, open invitation for correspondence, 100% positive feedback, high scores on "Detailed Seller Ratings," etc., I am an honest seller who works very hard to please buyers.
