For Superman's high-profile 2006 reappearance on the silver screen, director Bryan Singer enlisted the help of his frequent collaborator, composer John Ottman, to create an appropriate sense of sonic majesty. Deftly incorporating the themes from John Williams's beloved score for the original 1978 SUPERMAN film, Ottman crafts a wonderful soundtrack that is exemplified by the immediately recognizable, horn-laden "Main Titles." This soundtrack is a nice addition to the libraries of devoted Superman fans and/or aficionados of classic cinema music.
