This auction is for a 1/64th scale LIMITED EDITION ADULT COLLECTIBLE NASCAR diecast replica of the #9 1981 FORD THUNDERBIRD sponsored by MELL-GEAR driven by BILL ELLIOTT in 1981. It was manufactured by ACTION COLLECTIBLES as part of their HISTORICAL SERIES.

Bill drove this car for 13 races during the 1981 NASCAR Cup Series season. In April 1981 he brought home his first NASCAR Cup Series CAREER POLE POSITION clocked at 153.896mph qualifying run at DARLINGTON RACEWAY. It was manufactured by MOTORSPORTS AUTHENTICS and comes to you a display window box in FACTORY CRISP CONDITION.
