This CD has been recorded in MP3 format and will play on your computer or Most updated  DVD Players and CD player which supports MP3 files.
MP3’s will not play on a regular CD Player:  Please make sure your equipment will play MP3 files before buying.

still offering you a resonable price and best service. These MP3 files have been recorded from reel-to-reel tapes
and other older formats such as 12" records etc... I try my best to pay close attention to sound quality and remove those
that are of poor quality and loud record background. which takes time since I have a library of over 60,000 episodes.

BIT RATES & SAMPLE RATES: (OR THE TRUTH ABOUT BIT RATES)
I have been ask lately about my bit rates. Some have used this as an advertising gimick.
Recording a 1930s thur the the 50s voice recording is like putting a new patch on an old garmet.
Streaming Audio from internet usually downloads at 16kbps (16000 bits per second)
National standards for CDs Are
Voice Recordings (OTR) 32bps to 40bps.
FM Quality 56bps 64bps
Music CDs  128bps to 296bps
The higher the bit rate the more bandwidth and therefore you get less episodes per disc.

SAMPLE RATE:
Quality is controled by Sample Rate. Sample Rate is the rate at which the sound is sampled as it is being recorded.
The higher the Sample Rate the closer to the original recording you get. For MP3 I have found the sample rate to be 20 to 22.

All my CDs are either 32bps or 40bps  with a sample rate of 20 and 22 and I have not had any complaints.
