You are looking at one 52mm center pinch caps. I have 7 sizes available - 52, 55, 58, 62, 67, 72 and 77mm - please see my ebay store listing.

  • The cap is design to use with lens hood – it allows photographer to add or remove the cap without taking off the lens hood.
  • It is very convenient and time-saving. The plastic lens cap comes with a cord for attaching to the lens or camera body.
  • The third image above is of the lens cap with a Canon EF 55mm f/1.8 mk I.
  • In addition, it adds benefit of some extra protection to the lens from accidental impact.

The images above are of a regular lens cap and a center pinch cap on a Sigma 135-400mm APO. Because the tabs are located near the center of the cap, it is a lot easier to remove the center pinch cap from the lens with the long telephoto hood.
