Here is a very interesting book “Help to the Gospels” by Rev. Theodore Appel. The Christian themed book features a philosophical, historical and theological examination on the subject of Scriptures and the Four Gospels, lots of interesting information and insight.

Published by American Sunday School Union, undated has dedication from 1874. The book measures approx. 6 by 4 inches.

The book is in nice condition with the expected slight wear, dusty and dirty from many years of storage, spinecover slightly chipped and faded, spines and bindings are strong and tight, some heavier board and corner wear, leather spine end is rubbed but nice, name and dedication on inside cover


Lots of similar vintage and antique books up for auction from the same estate. Will combine lots and ship at exact cost.
