vintage ALUMINUM SILVER GLOW 6.5' CHRISTMAS TREE COMPLE

I am offering today an original silver aluminum Glow Christmas tree with very beat up box for a 6.5 foot aluminum Christmas tree that comes complete with 45 branches, pole, stand, paperwork and a box that I don't recommend paying the extra postage for as it is crumbling to the touch. The box does have only some info that says it is a glow twist tree. The tree together measures 70 inches approx. and all branches appear to be in good condition and with a little fluffing up from years in the sleeves, I think these will be just fine. There are some branches still with tinsel stuck to them and I will leave that up to the new owner to remove as I don't have the time or inclination to do it. Paper sleeves are fragile but will include branches in the sleeves and you decide to keep or not. Paperwork included but again from years of poor storage that is fragile as well. All in all this tree presents well and it is just the paper products for packing the tree that suffered the ravages of time. Priced low to go with never a reserve. Ho, Ho, Ho, its off to retroville we go!!

Unless prior arrangements have been made before auction closes, payment is kindly requested within 4 days of auction ending. Payment is by paypal only. I do not sell or ship on approval, please ask all questions before bidding to ensure a positive transaction. LATELY, everytime I list something, the next item I list takes on the same postage and weight amount as the previous item I listed. I don't know why this is happening, however, it has cost some consternation amongst buyers when I don't catch this before the auction ends..I will try and contact ebay to see why this is happening, but this is just another GOOD reason to email me for exact postage with a zip code and/or wait for the invoice...my calculations ARE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT.

After an item gets a bid I pack it. Prior to that, it has become too costly to waste bubble wrap and boxes and then have the item not sell...so again, please wait for an invoice for more accurate shipping costs.

If after a reasonable amount of time has passed and no bids, I often end the auction for lack of interest. So place your bid or it might go away.

Please use e-bay's Checkout services after you are invoiced by me so I know you have received the invoice and so I know your method of payment.

In the event that your shipping address is different than your contact information provided on the details page by ebay YOU MUST EMAIL ME and let me know or your item will be shipped to the contact address.

If you are going to be later than my four (4) day policy, please let me know.

I realize that sometimes real life outside of eBay has a tendency to get in the way so I am only an email away. Don't ignore the issue.

If it can fit safely in a priority box that is how it will be shipped. If it is books, they ship media mail. If you prefer parcel post for a cheaper method of shipping, I will comply with that request. If it is in a large or irregular box, it ships FED EX ground and my shipping days for FED EX are Tuesdays one day only due to the high cost of gas.

Post Office packages go out daily and are picked up by my Postman after 2:00 that day.If your payment is after that time, postal packages ship the following day.

I only estimate the amount of shipping by going by the weight of the object and adding a pound. I am usually right on but it may vary so wait for the invoice and figure that calculated price is not written in stone. If you need a more accurate, send your zip code before auction ends..

Insurance is not optional. I take great care in packing, however, the shippers do not. Best to be safe than sorry.

I do not charge handling fees ever, however, if a special size box is needed and I have to purchase that box or envelope that cost is passed on to the buyer. I try to keep that minimal and only in an emergency for a large box that I am unable to find on my own.

Unless the item up for auction has been stated as new, these pieces have been around for many, many years, some as many as 100 years and are sold "as is, as found". They have been displayed, used, washed, packed, etc. The pictures and descriptions are as detailed as possible, and all reasonable care has been taken to describe each piece as accurately as possible noting any damage or defects. Since vintage and antiques are previously owned and loved so if anything less than perfect isn't acceptable to you, this style item may not meet your standards. As such, we can only accept returns if the items was truly misrepresented in the e-Bay listing even though my policy states No returns accepted. For misrepresentation there are exceptions. Any return must be pre-authorized within 7 days of the ship date and RETURN POSTAGE IS AT THE BUYER'S EXPENSE again unless I misrepresented the item.

I take the time to take good pictures and do the best I can to describe, however, I am not perfect and make occasional mistakes. I do not feel threatened if I am corrected. Email welcome.

Everything I sell leaves my home clean and ready to use unless specified in my description that it needs paint, refinish or a good wash.

We live in a non-smoking home so there will be no funky odors, however, if you have any allergies, I do have a chihuahua who is long haired and produces dander. If this is a problem and you are allergic in any way do not bid.
