Merit Megatouch Maxx Ruby 2 Upgrade Kit Update

If you have a Megatouch Maxx game, and are ready for a change of things, I've got what you need!  What you are getting here is everything you need to upgrade any Megatouch Maxx game to the Ruby 2 software. The Ruby 2 software contains 88 games!

Included in this kit are the following things.

• Brand New Hard Drive

• Ruby 2 Security Key

• A Brand New CPU Fan

• Memory Stick required for newer versions of the Maxx software

First off, this is a BRAND NEW DRIVE!  If you look, 90% of the other drives being sold on eBay are USED DRIVES.  Why not buy a BRAND NEW DRIVE?  All the clowns around eBay thought they could make a few bucks by copying Megatouch hard drives.  But lets think about this.  You have a car, and at 200,000 miles, the engine blows up.  Do you go buy an engine with 200,000, or do you buy one with less miles?  Given the cost of a new hard drive, wouldn't it make sense to spend a few more dollars and get a new one that you won't have to worry about for a while?

Next, is the security key.  This is the part that is needed to make the software work!  It comes in the little pink antistatic package. 

I've also decided to include a brand new CPU fan.  These last 2 or 3 years in a Megatouch, and there's a pretty good chance that yours is toast.  And if it is, it can cause a bunch of problems including (but not limited to) fried CPUs and fried motherboards.  So while you are working on your game, just drop a new CPU fan in there, and give yourself some piece of mind.

And finally, we've got a memory stick.  Earlier versions of the Maxx software needed 32 megs to run.  Later versions need 64 megs.  Despite the clowns who make claims like "make your game faster with my memory upgrade", you don't need any more than 64.  Merit designed the software to run with a certain amount of memory, and adding more than the required amount HAS NO EFFECT AT ALL.  I've discovered this in my testing, and confirmed it with Merit techs. If you buy a memory upgrade kit for your game, and you already have the required amount, you are throwing your money away!  Alright, that's enough of my rant.
