Altar Boys Christian Punk Rock Original LP MRC Xian '84

                                          Original Christian Punk Rock LP from 1984

This is a rare Christian Punk Rock LP released in 1984 on the MRC Records label.   The record is by the group Altar Boys.

This group played excellent early punk rock.   To quote from The Encyclopedia of Contemporary Christian Music by Mark Allan Powell: " ... The Altar Boys translate brash punk attitude into a brazen profession of faith...  remarkable for a time when many Christian artists were looking for subtle or sneaky ways to talk about spiritual matters."

This LP played great on my turntable.   Just a few small scuffs.  Cover has a little wear and just a little creasing.
