One of the most significant liturgical ministries that has emerged in the ongoing liturgical reform is the role of the Cantor. The evolution of this ministry has grown beyond the initial “song leader” to one of prayer leadership for the sung worship of the gathered assembly. The skills and gifts called for are diverse: musical, liturgical, pastoral and spiritual.
In this video series, experienced cantors and workshops leaders Bonnie Faber and David Haas together with 30 parish cantors, explore the many practical, ministerial, musical and liturgical aspects of this most important ministry.
Enhance your knowledge and skills as a cantor and singer, enjoy and learn from the practical evaluation sessions with the participants, and experience the witness of cantors truly committed to their calling!
