Lenox presents an Annual Limited Edition Colonial Christmas Wreath Plate for Maryland, The Third Colony. Each of the 13 plates measures 10 1/2" in diameter with gold trim & lovely graphics on a creamy ivory background. These are some of the most exquisite plates I have ever seen and I imagine they will become a most treasured collectible some day.
"Christmas 1983" is the third in a limited edition series of thirteen fine china plates depicting Christmas Wreaths created by the materials that were cultivated in each of the thirteen original colonies.
Like the spirit of Maryland, the wreath on the Lenox plate speaks of prosperity, harmony and individualism. Robust apples combine with grapes and crimson beets on a wreath of delicate boxwood boughs.
Also, in back of each plate is some historical information on Maryland. The plate will arrive mint in it's original box with COA. Thanks for viewing! Happy Bidding!
