rs103) USPS Premium White House Portfolio; Cost $200

As shown in the scan, here is a really nice item prepared by the US Post Office and Bureau of Engraving and printing in honor of the 200th anniversary of the White House, in 2000. It has a full pane of twenty of the White House commemorative, Scott 3445, cat. $20. It also features a specially printed series 1999 $20 Federal Reserve note on bank E5. Serial number BE20001440D. It has a very elaborate vellum Certificate of Authenticity, with bright gold print and a blue printed serial number which matches the note. It was sold through the Postal Fullfillment Center for $198 plus postage. It is a heavy gold colored trifold cardboard folio, 11 x 10 inches. The top left of the photo shows the front cover, with the back cover at the upper right. The second row shows it with the front cover open, showing the sheet and the back of the bill. The bottom view shows it fully open, to display the face of the bill. The center has a view of the White House with engraved views of Presidents John Adams and Bill Clinton. Absolutely perfect in its original package with invoice and ordering form. This is one of a series of stamps we are starting at wholesale below half Brookman retail for the condition and probably less than a third of Mystic or Harris prices.
