Take a closer look at the so-called ""True RG59U with 18/2 power wire cable"" against real RG59U 18/2 cable.

Scratch the coax cable conductor (A) with a a utility knife, the white steel alloy color shows up under the thin copper coating. This ""True RG59U with 18/2 power wire cable"" is proven to have fake copper conductor, using steel wire coated with copper (A) to substitute expensive bare copper conductor (B).

To reduce the signal loss, solid or stranded bare copper conductors required for CCTV applications.

Bare copper shields are also required for CCTV application, cheap aluminum polyester foil shields is only used for CATV applications, that's why RG6 cable much cheaper than RG59. Foil shields will not meet RG59U standard.

18/2 power wire (D) means 2 of 18 gauge power wire. Look at this ""True RG59U with 18/2 power wire cable"" (C), only one power cable with hair thin conductors. How dare they claim this 1 thin power wire as 18 gauge 2 wire.

Due to the sky rocking copper price, some cable companies and sellers using steel conductor coated with copper to substitute copper. use single, or double cheap aluminum polyester foil shields substitute bare copper shield, making pro looking fat cables. unfortunately, those copper coated steel conductors doesn't do any good for CCTV applications.

All our pro cable and miniature cable use bare copper conductors, this auction you are bidding on our premium quality miniature pre-made cable with connectors. RG59U 18/2 pro cable sold separately at our eBay store.

Cables with lower resistance are better, it will have less voltage drops.

Cables with lower resistance are better, it will have lower video signal loss.
