| Movie description | |
| Essentially the home movies of some die-hard Metallica fans, this documentary boasts access to the stars, as well as some hilarious moments of drunken debauchery among the faithful. Filmed around the time that Jason Newsted joined the band, many fans voice their displeasure at where the music was going, while praising what had come before. Interviews with Slayer's Tom Araya (who wonders aloud: is Metallica too scared to tour with Slayer?), Anthrax's Scott Ian, Madonna (whose expression when asked "and you are?" is truly classic), and Rob Halford of Judas Priest, make this an interesting document of the scene in 1996. Meanwhile the maniacal, drunken antics of the fans are highly entertaining, in an up close and personal look at what goes on at concerts, both behind the scenes and in the audience. |
