Rookie vocalist Dallas Smith sings with the conviction and passion of a seasoned pro, especially on "Somewhere" and "By Your Side." Veteran grunge producer Rick Parasher (Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains) has effectively captured the sonic essence of Default. By design, THE FALLOUT comes across equal parts raw and refined; a perfect symmetry for this promising new band.
