The action is set nice and low with no buzz and it plays super easily and sounds great. It is in the case and has been played less than one hour and it is does't even have any fingerprints on it. There are no dings or scratches and no surprises on this one. The Expression system plugs right in and lights it up and it sounds really nice with a sweet woody acoustic sound. The sitka spruce top is nice and straight and the woodgrain on the back and sides is really nice. A Word About the Tonewood In This Guitar
Sitka Spruce has become an industry standard for high quality tonewoods. It is a very versatile top that works well for all styles of playing. Presently abundant makes it under appreciated, but it is one of the all time best tonewoods. The color is fairly light when new and becomes golden over time. A Pacific Northwest wood.

Sapele Mahognay is an attractive hardwood also indigenous to tropical West Africa. It is in the Mahogany family and in small section is almost indistinguishible by site. It is rich red in color much like South American Mahogany and the darker/lighter stripes give it a more interesting grain than others. It also shares some tonal characteristics with Mahogany, but boasts the livelier "sparkle" found in such medium-density hardwoods as walnut, and koa.
