INSIDE IS A LINING THAT HOLDS ALL THE WEIGHTS. THE POCKETS FOR THE WEIGHTS ARE SEWN INSIDE THE LINING..NO VISABLE SIGNS ON OUTSIDE OF THE VEST THAT IT IS WEIGHTED..LOOKS LIKE A REGULAR PART OF YOUR CHILDS WARDROBE.

ZIPS UP THE FRONT WITH A VERY DURABLE PLASTIC CHILD FRIENDLY "YKK" ZIPPER.  COLOR MAY VARY AS WELL AS INSIDE OF VEST DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU CHOSE FOR DECOUPAGE PATCHES.

DECALS ARE INFUSED AND IRONED ON THEN SEWN INTO PLACE.  THIS VEST HAS BEEN WASHED TWICE SO YOU CAN SEE THAT IT FRAYS QUICKLY!! IT IS SEWN ALL AROUND THE EDGES SO IT CAN ONLY FRAY A CERTAIN AMOUNT.

EACH SHOULDER STRAP WEIGHS 1/2 POUND.   EIGHT 6 OZ. WEIGHTS FOR THE WAIST AREA FOR 3 POUNDS AROUND THERE. TOTAL 4 POUNDS.  THE VEST ITSELF WEIGHS ABOUT  1 1/2 POUNDS. SO THIS IS LIKE A 5 1/2 POUND VEST.

I DESIGNED THIS VEST FOR OUR SON.  I HAVE BEEN DOING SOME DECOUPAGE CLOTHING AND CAME UP WITH THE IDEA FOR A DECOUPAGE WEIGHTED VEST.  WHAT FUN!!!  CHILDREN SHOULD BE PROUD OF THEIR VESTS AND THAT IS MY GOAL.  I STRIVE TO MAKE VESTS AND OTHER WEIGHTED ITEMS THAT DO NOT STAND OUT..JUST LOOK ADORABLE!!!  YET PROVIDE THE MUCH NEEDED SENSORY STIMULATION THEY DESPERATELY NEED.

"ALL OVER SENSORY" VEST..TOTALLY SEAMLESS..4 POUNDS WEIGHT.

ONE VEST SIZE 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 OR 8.  YOU CHOSE ONE SIZE AT END OF AUCTION.  I RECOMMEND ONE SIZE BIGGER THAN REGULAR TOP SIZE LEAVING ROOM FOR THE WEIGHTS.

OUTSIDE WILL BE 100% COTTON DENIM WITH DECOUPAGE PATCHES SEWN ON. I HAVE MANY FABRIC CHOSES FOR THE DECOUPAGE PATCHES.  PLEASE EMAIL ME.  JUST TO LIST A FEW SPIDERMAN, BATMAN, WIGGLES, BOB THE BUILDER AND MANY OTHERS AVAILABLE. PRETTY MUCH ANY VEST PATTERN IN MY STORE CAN BE USED AS WELL.

INSIDE WILL BE A COORDINATING COTTON MATERIAL DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU CHOSE FOR AN OUTSIDE DESIGN. COLOR OF INSIDE AND WEIGHTS MAY VARY DEPENDING ON WHAT I HAVE AVAILABLE BUT THEY WILL COORDINATE.

WEIGHTED TO 4 POUNDS..1/2 POUND EACH SHOULDER...3 POUNDS AROUND WAIST AREA.

DECOUPAGE IS LEFT TO FRAY AT THE EDGES. THE MORE YOU WASH IT THE BETTER IT WILL LOOK. THIS VEST SHOWN HAS BEEN WASHED TWO TIMES AND IT ALREADY IS FRAYING WONDERFULLY!!

THIS VEST IS A LOT OF WORK.  VERY TIME CONSUMING.  WHAT FUN FOR THE KIDS THOUGH.  I HAD A GREAT TIME DOING THIS ONE FOR OUR SON.

IT IS MACHINE WASH.  HANG TO DRY THEN USE COOL IRON TO PRESS. REMOVE ALL WEIGHTS BEFORE WASHING..THEY ARE WIPE OFF ONLY.

THE EIGHT LOWER WEIGHTS ARE MADE OF STERILE SAND SEWN INTO HEAVY PLASTIC LINED FABRIC. THE SHOULDER STRAPS ARE MADE WITH METAL PELLETS FOR AN ALMOST INVISABLE WEIGHT IN THAT AREA.

THE VEST SHOWN HAS ALL THE WEIGHTS IN IT ALREADY..YOU CAN BARELY SEE THEM.  ALL THE WEIGHTS ARE REMOVABLE AND WEIGHT AMOUNT IS ADJUSTABLE BY REMOVING EVERY OTHER WEIGHT OR THE SHOULDER WEIGHTS.
