This auction is for a "BABY FLEECE" weighted blanket made of fleece on front and a coordinating cotton material on back weighted to 3 pounds. Filled with poly pellets for weight.  One layer of quality poly lining inside.  This blanket will not have poly fill like most of my blankets do..it is very small and will be made more like I make my lap pads.   Perfect size for a child up to 18 months or so still in a crib.

WEIGHTED BLANKETS ARE EXCELLENT FOR SENSORY ISSUES IN CHILDREN, ADHD, AUTISM, ASPERGER'S, INSOMNIA. THEY PROVIDE THE DEEP PRESSURE STIMULATION THE BODY CRAVES TO RELAX AND SLEEP BETTER.

I have worked for the foster care system in our state for over 10 years, been a nurse over 10 years, raised three birth children and now have adopted two special needs children.
