CIVIL WAR~DICKENS~AUTHENTIC 1850-60'S REPRO SLAT BONNET

I HAVE FOR SALE THIS AUTHENTIC REPRODUCTION SLAT BONNET.  IT IS PERFECT FOR 1850'S THRU 1880'S INCLUDING CIVIL WAR~VICTORIAN~ PIONEER AND SASS IMPRESSIONS. 

IT IS 100%  BLACK COTTON (Due to the Heavy Construction of the Brim, these Bonnets are NOT Just for Keeping the Sun From Your Face But Also Protect from the Wind and Cold During the Winter Months.) AND FULLY MACHINE WASHABLE. 

THE BRIM HAS A HEAVY COTTON BATTING LINING WITH 4 LAYERS OF BLACK COTTON SEWN INTO PLACE BY THE SLAT ROW STITCHING (I CREATE THEM MYSELF) TO MAKE IT STIFF (SO IT DOESN'T DROOP IN YOUR FACE). 

THE 3" SKIRT IN THE BACK CAN BE ADJUSTED BY A TINY BLACK SATIN RIBBON THAT TIES IN A BOW FOR DECORATION. 

THE BRIM MEASURES 19" AROUND THE FACE AND IS 7~1/2" FROM CROWN TO FRONT.  THE DOUBLE LAYER BLACK FRONT TIES ARE 29-30" LONG.
