A GREAT HOBBY AND A GREAT WAY TO MAKE MONEY!

Hello, and thank you for your interest in becoming a Civil war Sutler. I have been a sutler of Civil War reenactment items for almost 20 years, this short book will give you just about everything I have learned and know about the subject. What to do, what to sell, how to do it, where to do it and so on. You will receive one cd with one easy to read file using microsoft Word or adobe. My wife and myself have been on-site sutlers (selling in our tent and under our fly at events) and have pretty much loved every minute of it except for those days of heavy rain. Even then, I had a great time but my wife….well, not so much in the heavy rain. I am now getting too old for the “on-site” selling so I have reduced my business to what I love best, Historic American Flags, offered on ebay so I can sell what I love the most, without getting out of the house. Over the years, I made a lot of money as a sutler and most important, I loved doing it. I loved the work, I loved the set up time, I loved the many interesting people I met.

As I have said, I am just too old for it now. Please be aware I still make and sell flags on internet so this book will cover just about every item you can sell to make lots of money but I will not give you any information on my existing Flag business. Afterall, there are thousands of other items you can sell. Yes, you can get a Frock Coat at $25.00 and sell it for $200.00. Yes, you can get a canteen for $8.00 and sell it for $55.00. Yes, you can get a Forage cap for $15.00 and sell it for $90.00. It is all in this one cd.

Other sutlers, some friends of mine, say I am not doing the right thing buy giving out all this private or secret information but I, like them are getting old. This means we must past the tourch so future generations can enjoy this wonderful hobby while making good money doing what we love. For some of us its a hobby, for some a living, and for the lucky ones like me, it is both. I am selling this on my regular ebay id (USFlags11) so many of you know me and have known me for many, many years. Many of you only know me through my flags here on ebay but I have always been an on-site sutler at all the major events in the East coast selling everything else reenactors and spectators need or want. I have shut down my regulare Sutler website and shut down my ebay sutler store so If you go there I will show up as "no longer a registered user". Alas, I am now too old for setting up my tent and fly in the rain so I will just retire. I will leave what I know to the future generation of Civil War Sutlers.
