Vintage 1966 3M Co Breakthru The Double Strategy Game

The back of the box reads:

Breakthru is a unique, new double-strategy game that sets two players to plotting naval-like maneuvers in an attempt to win the battle- by evasion or capture!  One player commands a Silver Fleet of twenty ships- the other is in command of a Gold Fleet which has one large Flagship and twelve escorts.  To gain the victory, the commander of the Silver Fleet must successfully blockade, outwit and outmaneuver the Gold Fleet's escorts - and capture the Flagship! The Gold Fleet's commander, employing shrewd and aggressive tactics, attempts to breakthru the enemy blockade and escort his flag-ship to safety - and victory!! Handsome Bookshelf case contains playing board, gold and silver playing pieces. 

 

This game is in very good condition for its age.  Does not come with instructions.
