History of Northampton County [Pennsylvania] This publication is an extensive historical / biographical work featuring Northampton County, PA, and contains a wealth of information for research. Chapters 1 - 23 cover the early history, settlement and civil development of the county. Chapters 24 - 27 focus on the histories of each of the townships and major boroughs. The second section of this publication (pages 567 to 1389) makes up the biographical portion and covers hundreds of prominent citizens and families.
