One Martha Stewart by Mail Turkey Cake Mold is new in unopened package and has never been in use.  Included with the cake mold is the color recipe booklet with recipes and techniques--seen in second photo.  This item is in mint/pristine condition.  Amber cake stand shown--available in separate listing. 

The tradition of making molded cakes derives from the ancient Middle Eastern custom of stamping symbols on holy bread.  By the 17th century, Western bakers used molds to create shaped cakes for holidays.  This durable cast-aluminum mold produces a cake in the shape of a turkey, ideal for serving at Thanksgiving.  The finished cake can be drizzled with a simple glaze or embellished with butter-cream feathers.  This 2-part mold will allow you to make a realistic, three-dimensional cake that will amaze guests.  Customers are using these to mold everything from chocolate to rice.
