You will not see this showing up on eBay very often!  Published by John J. Thompson as a mail order vehicle for his store True Tunes Etc., this magazine was known for honest and independent coverage of the rock, alternative, and independent scenes in Christian music.

This particular issue bears the name True Tunes News Update instead of the normal magazine name True Tunes News.  This was a smaller than normal supplemental issue as the magazine planned to transition from a quarterly to a bimonthly.  It is, therefore, a little smaller than standard issues of the magazine--with fewer features and reviews--and contains only a catalog update (of newer releases) rather than a full catalog.  Of course, it compensates for that with extensive interview features with Amy Grant and Julie Miller, as well as album reviews of some of the biggest name artists in its fanbase community--Michael Knott, Swirling Eddies, Over the Rhine, etc.

CONDITION:  Everything is in absolutely MINT condition!  This magazine is a large size publication (approximately the same size as the old Rolling Stone size).  When mailed, it was folded in half.  It will be shipped folded, as was originally intended when it was printed.

THIS IS A MUSIC MAGAZINE.  THERE ARE NO COMPACT DISCS INCLUDED IN THIS SALE.  It says "Compact Disc" above my item description because I paid extra to list this item in both the used magazines AND the compact discs categories.
