Shipping
At this time, US1furniture.com ships merchandise only to locations within the continental United States and not to international locations. Nor does US1furniture.com ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Long Island N.Y,the US Virgin Islands or APO (Army Post Office) / FPO (Fleet Post Office) addresses.
Merchandise cannot be delivered without a signature. On large items o quantity orders the packages will be boxed and may arrive on a pallet. The delivery company will not take any merchandise inside the house, or setup the furniture. This is a curbside delivery (to a front door or garage door).
US1furniture.com only contracts professional delivery and trucking companies to deliver the order. Unfortunately, accidents damaging your ordered items could occur. While this happens extremely rarely, we do ask our customers to thoroughly inspect the merchandise at the time of arrival and note all comments on damage in their entirety on the bill of lading. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! Customer should also photograph the damages and e-mail the photographs of damages to us1furniture@gmail.com within 3 business days of delivery. If the damages are not promptly and fully noted and reported, we might not be able to assist customer with the claims.
Please follow these steps when receiving the merchandise:
1. Inspect the box and its contents for damage. Your signature on the freight bill is your confirmation that you have received the items in good condition and releases the carrier from any liability for damages.
2. Note any damage to the boxes, such as dents or tears, and any damage to the items on the freight bill before signing it.
3. If an item is severely damaged, you should refuse the package. This prevents you for being charged again freight when we send you a replacement for the damaged item.
4. E-mail us immediately at us1furniture@gmail.com. We will help you initiate a claim with the carrier and get any replacement parts or items as quickly as possible. This notification must be made up to 3 days after receiving the shipment, due to carrier deadlines regarding filing claims.
Do not discard the original packing. Shipping carrier could need to inspect it, and you might need to use it if returning item to us.
