It is great for outdoor activities or just wearing around town with a pair of jeans! This coat has the OMNI TECH FINISH, which GUARANTEES that the coat is WATERPROOF AND BREATHABLE and SEAM SEALED!! It is medium weight and has microtemp insulation. It is not a heavy parka type of coat, more of a medium weight winter jacket that can also be layered for extra warmth. It also has some light fleece in the inside lining. It has a hood that zips off the collar.
