DEATHDREAM: The news that all parents dreaded during the Vietnam war reaches a suburbanite couple (John Marley and Lynn Carlin) when they learn that their son has perished and will not be returning home. Grief-stricken, the couple find the news hard to accept. Then, a few days later, their son returns home, seemingly unscathed from his brush with battle. But when he starts displaying zombie-like tendencies, it appears that he's not dead--he's one of the UNdead....Featuring the special effects debut of the legendary Tom Savini, this potent zombie film from Bob Clark (BLACK CHRISTMAS, A CHRISTMAS STORY) was also one of the first movies to tackle the subject of the Vietnam War.
