8" x 7" x 2"  -  5 lbs. 8 oz.

Large plate of lustrous stepped cubes of lilac colored fluorite with purple edges from Mexico.  The cubes are interlocking and stepped with some color zoning and irratic color patterns as shown in the close up photos. Specular when backlighted. NO MATRIX. Totally translucent. Color saturation goes from light to dark lilac and purple due to varying thickness of plate and cubes. Overall very good condition with some corner nicks and a few scrapes. Nothing that really distracts from the overall appeal of this piece. Normal extraction scars around the perimeter of the plate.
