Stephen K. Hayes was inducted into the prestigious Black Belt Hall of Fame for his years of pioneering work in introducing the Japanese ninja martial art to the American public. Hayes was awarded the extremely rare Ju-dan Tenth Degree Black Belt license by grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi of Chiba-ken, Japan. He is the founder of the martial art of To-Shin Do, a contemporary mind and body self-protection system based on ancient ninja martial arts principles updated and adapted for application to modern threats and pressures.

Masaaki Hatsum trained with grandmaster Toshitsugu Takamatsu for 15 years and was granted the title of soke (lineage head) for the nine martial arts that he learned from Takamatsu Sensei. Hatsumi was inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame in 1986. I combine shipping based on actual weight, not artificial charges, so great savings can be obtained by combining shipping.  Also, my handling fees are on a "PER SHIPMENT" Basis, not "PER ITEM".  So you only pay handling fees once per order - unlike some who combine shipping, but charge handling fees on every item.

Shipments are currently sent out on Saturdays.  To be included in a shipment, payments must be cleared by 10pm EST on Friday night.  Usually we also have a mid-week shipment, but this is not guaranteed.

International Buyers : There are 3 shipping options listed, here is an explanation:

1. Flat Rate Envelope : Thin Cardboard 8.5x11 envelope intended for documents.  In this I place a poly bubble wrap envelope with your book in it, or else your book wrapped in bubble wrap.  This option is only available for small books, and shipping cannot be combined with this option.  Without the extra bubble padding, damage to the book is almost certain - beware other sellers who do not provide additional padding (always check feedback negatives).
2. Priority Mail : Standard shipping method, using boxes and appropriate padding.  Highly recommend combining shipping with multiple items when shipping overseas.
3. Flat Rate Box & Large Flat Rate Box : These allow (on average) 6 - 12 books respectively to be shipped together for a very economical rate.  Number of books will vary depending on size of the book, of course.  For this option, after you make your purchase, I will send an invoice with the combined order.  Feel free to contact me to find out what size box you will require for your order.
