SANTA CLARA PUEBLO VASE

     Featured is this beautiful polychrome  Santa Clara Pueblo pottery bowl.  The handwritten note by the original owner found in the pot states, that the bowl was made by NICDASA and was purchased for $45.
     The pot measures 6-1/4" tall, has a 3-1/2" opening, & is approximately 5" in diameter at its widest point.  It has a beautiful stone polished finish & a Water Serpent is painted around the perimeter.  No signature.  The note states it was purchased at The Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, Arizona on 9-10-76 for $45.00.
     Condition is very good, with no chips, cracks, repairs, etc.   There are a few scuff marks near the tail of the Serpent that in no way detracts from the beauty of this pot.
     Pottery from the Santa Clara Pueblo is among the most well known in the world.  The colors are fused into the pottery & will never come off.
