Contour Day Balm provides intensive care for people with particularly sensitive or dry skin around the eye contour areas.

It offers that extra protection when undertaking outside activities in the summer or winter, against the many atmospheric irritants or inside smoky rooms. Hay Fever sufferers will really appreciate its soothing effect. And it works very effectively to refine the skin's texture and prevent the development of premature lines or wrinkles. Besides actively moisturizing, it works to improve skin tone and elasticity, which is particularly helpful for the eyelids, as they do not have sebaceous glands.

The preparation incorporates a nutritious blend of natural oils, waxes and medicinal plant extracts. Anthyllis Extract stimulates skin's renewal and regenerative processes. Calendula Extract has been used for wound healing and soothing the skin for centuries.

St John's Wort stimulates new cell growth and has antibacterial properties. Neem Leaf Extract is revered for its excellent antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. Carrot Extract has excellent soothing properties. While Apricot and Jojoba Oils combine with Beeswax to protect and moisturise the skin.

After cleansing, toning and moisturizing in the morning, take a little balm with a clean dry spatula or finger-- this is particularly important, as this natural product does not use preservatives. Make sure no moisture gets into the pot. Then warm it between the fingertips as this will make it easier to use and apply carefully with light press and roll movements. Leave it for at least 5 minutes and then remove any excess with a tissue by gently pressing it onto the eyelids and peeling away.

For that extra protection, the balm can be used before facial steaming or taking a sauna.

At night the skin is most active in regenerating and removing wastes and toxins, therefore Eye Contour Day Balm should not be used at night or other cream products. The skin will then be allowed to breathe and fulfill its healthy function.

Application:

Mornings, warm a minute amount of cream between the fingertips and gently apply to the entire area around the eyes.

Instructions for Use:

1. Remove product from the jar with a clean toothpick for each application.
2. Use in the morning after cleansing and moisturising.
3. Use a very small amount only (a little goes a very long way) and warm it between your fingertips - this makes it go on much smoother and makes it easier to apply.
4. Leave for 5-10 minutes, then remove any excess remaining by pressing a paper tissue onto the eyelid and then "peeling" it away.

Hints and Tips

• Apply before steaming your face and treating yourself to a sauna, to protect the sensitive skin around the eyes.
• Eye Contour Day Balm should not be used at night time. The skin uses this time to excrete toxins, and we recommend that no creamy substances should therefore be applied.
• Use Cleansing Milk to remove make-up by applying with a moist cotton wool ball, then wiping out across the eye. Repeat until make-up is removed.
• Dr.Hauschka Mascara is a good cosmetic for sensitive eyes.
