This trilogy of made-for-TV movies stars Burt Reynolds as a detective who is surrounded by crime and corruption.
HARD TIME: Burt Reynolds directs and stars in this action-fueled film about corruption in the police force. As Detective Logan McQueen, Reynolds heads a cast of celebrities, including Charles Durning, Robert Loggia, Billy Dee Williams, Mia Sara, and Roddy Piper. When a suspect carrying $500,000 is murdered, Detective Logan becomes the object of suspicion. When Logan makes bail, the crime boss of the dead suspect kidnaps him and only releases him with his promise to find the killer. Solving the mystery takes him deep within a den of crooked cops.
HARD TIME: THE PREMONITION: This sequel to HARD TIME finds former detective Logan McQueen (BURT REYNOLDS) imprisoned for crimes he didn't commit. Despite his location, McQueen still encounters mysteries to unravel when he meets Winston, a death row inmate who has had strangely accurate visions of a slew of bombings. Winston uses his knowledge as bargaining chips, buying a friend's freedom, Logan's spot on the team of investigators, and visits from his daughter. When his daughter arrives, Winston's connection to the bombings becomes clear.
HARD TIME: HOSTAGE HOTEL: A deranged Vietnam veteran (Carradine) abducts a California congressman's wife and daughter and holds them captive in an abandoned hotel.
