RARE  ANTIQUE  FRENCH  PROVINCIAL  NURSING  CHAIR

Antique 19th C French Provincial a la gerbe back chauffeuse.

 Originally had a patterned straw seat but was upholstered in quality red with yellow-gold accents fabric and goose down cushion was added to raise the seat to a comfortable height.

 Frame is in fine original condition, has never been repaired and delicate wheat-sheaf design has no damages .

Very rare, extremely valuable and hard to find item.

About 43 ½’ tall; 19” deep and 21 ½” wide. Seat is about 19 ½” x 18 ½” and about 20” above the ground.

This lot is listed for local pickup but can be shipped if you will cover the cost.
