This Step Stool is made of  SOLID CHERRY  and is stained Dark Cherry. The Step Stool can also be finished Medium Cherry.
  After staining, your Step Stool will be professionally finished using  
2 Coats  of high quality catalyzed satin lacquer Catalyzed lacquer is more water and scratch resistant than regular lacquer.
 
We do not use shortcuts producing this item. All edges and corners are sanded to give the piece a softer look and feel. This item is shipped completely assembled, stained, and lacquer coated.
 
 
 
We do not use mushroom buttons to cover the screw holes. A cherry plug is used and then it is sanded flush.
