This is very important because the shipping company may need to contact you, in order to set up a delivery time for your order or if any issues arise in processing.

If you do not leave your phone number and the shipping company is unable to reach you, your order will be held in storage and incur additional storage fees, which you (the buyer) will be responsible for.

We do not offer insurance on deliveries.

ATTENTION:  PayPal Users

When purchasing an item from Eastern Truck Equipment, the shipping address specified on the EBay account must be the same address as the confirmed PayPal shipping address.  If the addresses on the accounts don't match, the product will be shipped to the confirmed PayPal address.

Important:

If you receive a product that is damaged, you must notify the driver or the shipping company immediately.  Eastern Truck Equipment will not be held responsible for damaged products if the customer accepts the package.  NEVER ACCEPT A DAMAGED PACKAGE FROM THE SHIPPING COMPANY.  Report the damage to the driver immediately.  All damaged products must be noted at the time of the delivery.  Never open a damaged product.  Call the shipping company and get the driver back to the location to review the situation.  Once the package is accepted and signed for, there is nothing Specialty Tools can do. The situation needs to be handled with the shipping company directly.

Upon Verification Of eBay Order Product Will Ship Within 6-10 Days.

Please Note:

'Business Days' are Monday through Friday; Specialty Tools does not process orders on Saturday or Sunday, nor do our carriers deliver on these days. Tracking information will be e-mailed to you as soon as we process your order.

Return Policy:

Most items purchased from Eastern Truck Equipment can be returned.  If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase simply return merchandise along with your original receipt within 30 days of purchase, unless a shorter return period is indicated. Eastern Truck Equipment will, at our sole discretion, repair it, replace it, or refund your money based on method of payment.

Exceptions:

Items over 150 lbs (contact for further information)

Due to shipping regulations, items with gasoline engines cannot be returned after gasoline has been added to the tank. These items must be repaired at a local authorized Factory Service Center.

Restocking Fees will be applied in certain Situations

Restocking Fees:

Some items may be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee; this will be assessed when the product is returned to Eastern Truck Equipment. Normal charges will apply for an exchange. If Eastern Truck Equipment offers free shipping and you return the product for a full refund, you will be charged a $20.00 restocking fee as well as the shipping costs.

* A refund will not be issued if non-defective merchandise is returned in visibly used, or damaged condition. *

Lift Gate:

If you require a lift gate for your delivery, an additional charge will apply. $140

If you do not need a lift gate because you have a fork lift please let us know.

If you say you do not need a lift gate or live on a residential street, and the trucking company requires you to have a lift gate, charges may apply.   Any fee that the trucking company incurs on Eastern Truck Equipment (gate fees etc.), that wasn’t agreed upon in the purchasing and payment phases of the transaction will be charged directly to the customer.

Free Shipping:

Orders marked free shipping will be shipped UPS Ground at no charge, and usually ship within two to four (2-4) days. Most items are delivered within eight to ten (8-10) business days. Free shipping is only made available in the continental United States, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. If you want to exchange a free shipping product, the product will not ship for free the second time.

International Orders:

At this time we currently ship outside of the United States and require payment to be sent via wire transfer or PayPal if you are a confirmed buyer.

Orders "Refused" Without Authorization:

Returns that were shipped back after 30 days of the date received (Note: unless authorized, late returns will be rejected) once we receive your return, please allow 14 days for us to inspect and process your return. Purchases will be refunded to the account you provided when you placed your order.

Large Item (Over 150 lbs) Return Policy:

Due to the expense of shipping heavy items, large items have a separate Return Policy. Be sure to carefully inspect all Heavy Item (freight) deliveries for damage before signing the bill of lading, as freightliner-handling charges cannot be refunded.  If items arrive damaged or defective, you must note this on the shipping receipt and refuse delivery to avoid paying actual freight charges. Please notify us of any delivery problems as soon as possible to expedite the refund process.

You miss your delivery appointment

If you refuse or return a non-damaged, non-defective item.

If you do not provide us with factual information in any attempt to reduce delivery expenses. (Residential/Commercial)
