This painting is in need of restoration with alot of paint chips and one small hole in the canvas!! Still it depicts a lovely seascape (soory for the glare in the photos!) with a sailboat on the horizon! It is signed in the lower left corner, W. Ferdinand Moly, and dated 1909!! I have not been able to find any information on him, but I am guessing that he is European (perhaps Portuguese or Spanish!), and therefore I am assuming that the painting is from Europe! The wooden frame is solid with gold gilding that has several scrapes and chips. It is nothing special and I will be happy to ship this at less cost without the frame!! Overall the size is approx. 21" X 31", and the canvas is 16" X 26"!! I am hoping to find someone who will take the time to restore this piece to all its glory!! Shipping will be by Fedex Ground!
