This is  a beautiful set of pictures.They are Russian Orthodox Christian Icons. The first one is Christ Almighty and the second one is the Virgin of Kazan( the protectress of Russia)
These pictures are prints on wood. The prints have beautiful detailing in silver and gold making them look rich and have wonderful color. Each picture measures 16 inches long x 13 inches wide. Since they are mounted on wood, they do have some weight to them. I thought since they are a matched pair, they would do so much better listed as such instead of single pictures.
These would look fantastic displayed in any setting and would make a perfect gift. They were made in Russia.
They are still sealed in original plastic and are brand new!
