Vintage Professional Music Fake Book - Priced to Sell Fast!
See my Christmas music books! A Huge Variety of Great Music – 122 pages, approximately 200 Songs! Item Description: This vintage professional musician’s fake book is packed with music arranged in an easy to play format for organ, piano, guitar, etc. The book was never used, so all of the pages are extremely clean and look fantastic! The title of the book is called “THE MOST POPULAR STANDARD SONGS”. The cover indicates that the music is for Organ, Piano, Guitar, etc. The cover also reads as follows: REVISED EDITION – LIMITED EDITION – FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY – PRICE $27.50. The publisher and date of printing is unknown. This book was most likely published in the 1940’s or 1950’s. There are quite a few standard hits and pop tunes. There are several songs in this book that I have never seen in other books - or even heard of! Check out the partial contents list below. The songs appear in standard fake book style, with circled chords, a single melody line, and the words. Condition: The book was never used. The front and back cover show some wear around the edges, including 2 very tiny tears along the top cover. Inside, the book is excellent! All of the music is bright and clean! The spiral binding allow pages to turn smoothly and lie flat. The music is clear and easy to read with no rips or tears. This is one of several vintage music books that I am now listing.
