Ever wanted to crack a safe or rob a bank? Well, now gamers can experience all of these illegal activities without fear of going to jail in The Adventure Company and Kheops Studios’s SAFECRACKER: THE ULTIMATE PUZZLE ADVENTURE for the PC. The game presents a number of different challenging puzzles presented as a number of safes the player has to crack. The game does have a storyline, although it serves merely to connect the various puzzles. Players take on the role of a safe expert who has been hired by the family of the deceased oil baron Duncan Adams to find his will. In addition to being a brilliant businessman, Adams loved collecting rare and unusual safes, and no one knows which of his many safes contains his will. Players will have to open them all until the can find the millionaire’s last testament. Each room in the mansion has its own safe for players to crack, and each safe presents a different sort of logic puzzle. There is a good variety to the types of puzzles, and players will also find clues and items along the way that will help them figure out how to defeat each challenge. SAFECRACKER: THE ULTIMATE PUZZLE ADVENTURE is definitely a great game for any puzzle master, although younger gamers may not enjoy it as much. The game presents a challenge, but for players who love using their brains to get through each puzzle, it’s a challenge that will be more than welcomed.
