A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.
This is a wonderful antique porcelain figurine of a blonde Dancing Lady in a lovely aqua or turquoise blue dress with ruffles and gilded trim, ruffled pink petticoat, and a white . She is swirling to music or blown by the wind. Very graceful and pretty. Her face is delicate and detailed.
She is 8" tall and marked only "Japan" underneath. Circa 1950s. She may have been made by Ucagco, Lefton, Inarco, Artmark or Ardalt Artware, who all produced similar figures or statuettes in Japan during this period. This piece doubles as a vase, cachepot or planter.
She is in good condition, with no chips, cracks or stains, but she is missing the very tip of her left pinky finger (easily restored and touched up).
As the photo shows, this is a beautiful vintage display piece with rare charm.
