Bust of a Beautiful Young Woman gold cold cast bust after Emmanuel Villanis, This is an authorised reproduction, The original was done In the Art Nouveau period, and this piece is truly a lovely piece, made of a white metal, with a gold finish, not sure of the metal, she is actually more golden than the photo's are showing,

Emmanuel Villanis 1858-1914
Villanis worked in France and began exhibiting at the salon in 1896. Strongly influenced by Art Nouveau, he produced innumerable works mostly representing feminine figures. The majority were cast in bronze and in various tinted metals, often in many dimensions, and indeed in many versions
 
Villanis was famous for naming all his lady creations, this ladies name is Carmela.
 
WORKMANSHIP & QUALITY are excellent with rich gold Patina,
 
MATERIAL STRUCTURE, It is made of a white metal
 
CONDITION & SIZE, In absolutely fabulous condition,
 
Stands  19.5 cm tall , quite a heavy piece,
