This neat old 5" x 10 1/2" x 5 1/4" Crosley radio is an authenic licensed reproduction of the orginal! But wait...... dated on the back with a production code of August 1988 makes it a double vintage collectible! The radio has authenic reproduction bakelite case with white dials, frame around dial, and handle on top. The authenic reproduction dial shows the kilocycles and mega Hz. The tuner needle is even authenic to the orginal radio. On the front at time is Crosley Collector's Edition Radio. The radio is AM/FM/Cassette. On the back of radio is a black sticker that says Crosley Collector's Edition Radio. The range frequency for AM is 530-1610 kHz and FM is 88-108 Mhz. There is a gold foil sticker that says Crosley CR-2 Limited Edition Radio No. 0811. At the bottom is a white sticker which shows the production code. Aug 1988 is stamped in the box. The orginal Kmart sticker is even on the back but starting to lift around the edges due to age. The cassette player is on the side of the case with a white eject button. I have played the radio and it plays beautifully, nice and clear. I can't try the cassette player as I don't have a tape! I am guessing it works good too but not sure. Only a guess. The volume knob is slightly crackly when adjusting but fine when adjusted to the volume level you want it. Possibly due to dirt and a good cleaning may help. Not sure, only a guess. The radio other than the volume problem is in excellant condition with a little sticker residue on the front. Easily removed. Some paint residue on the cord in a couple of spots but this doesn't detract and can't be seen from the front. It's close to the top of the part coming out of the back.
