THE BENGAL TIGER - FRANKLIN MINT FOR NATIONAL GEOGRPHIC SOCIETY 1998

This is a figurine of the Bengal Tiger-Panthera Tigris native of the Ramthambhone National park, once the site of an ancient fortress ruled by maharajas, Ramthambhone has been a wildlife sanctuary since 1957. The park encompasses more than 200 square miles in northern central India. The tiger figurine stands on a rock and is placed on a base , in the middle of a glass globe that has the continents etched on. Great piece.
