I DON’T HAVE THE SLIGHTEST IDEA what this would have been used for.  It came out of the kitchen and has a very unusual design. When you squeeze the handle the spring top opens up and springs back when you release it.  Well made and in excellent shape, this measures 9 ¼” tall by 2 ½” across the widest part of the handle.
