From the Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring, we present the Frodo Baggins & Samwise Gamgee figures.
Intricately detailed by an army of talented artists, along with Hot Toys & the Sideshow Design & Development Team. Sideshow is proud to anouce that Frodo & Sam are the first figures to utilize a brand new body type created specifically for smaller characters, like Hobbits or children. This new male body possesses all the articulation of the larger 12" body, allowing you to expand the variety of your 12" collection & broaden your ability to customize your own creations. These amazing figures feature meticulously sculpted likenesses of Elijah Woods & Sean Austin, as the two Hobbit comrades as they appear in "The Fellowship of the Ring".
While visiting the Shire, Gandalf the Grey discovers the true evil nature of Bilbo Baggins ring. He convinces him to entrust the ring to his young heir Frodo Baggins. Pure of heart, stalwart and brave, the young Hobbit follows Gandalf's instructions, leaves his peaceful home in the Shire and begins his journey to the great Elven city of Rivendell. Just barely arriving alive with the help of new friends along the way, a great meeting of Elves, Dwarves and Men decide the future of Middle~Earth. A Fellowship of the Ring is formed with Frodo as the lone bearer of the "One Ring" with the responsibility of its destruction in the fires of Mount Doom.
Samwise Gamgee is one of the members of the Fellowship and Frodo's best friend. Once a humble gardener in the Shire, he left the Shire with Frodo to accompany him on his journey. When the Fellowship is broken and scattered, Sam remains Frodo's lone companion to help him bear the burden of the One Ring and its destruction.
The Frodo Baggins & Samwise Gamgee action figures are film accurate and ready to jump into action in any dynamic position you should desire. Sideshow's scaled new 9" male body figure are fully articulated with 25+ points of articulation, capable of nearly any possible pose that a Hobbit's body can achieve. The Ring Bearer is outfitted in his signature Shire apparel, including real fabric shirt, pants, vest, coat, Lothlorien green cloak with Elven broach, belt, backpack, detailed leather belt with his Sting sword and scabbard, pipe, Phial of Galadriel, along with the infamous One Ring with neck chain. He also has two sets of open and gripping hands for multiple display options.
Samwise is also outfitted in traditional Shire attire, including real fabric shirt, pants vest, burly coat, khaki cloak, belt, backpack, haversack, pipe and a detailed leather belt with his Weathertop sword and scabbard. As the Fellowship's appointed cook, he also carries a cooking pot, small and large frying pans, ladle, water skin with strap, along with a few sausage links for "pasta night". Both figures come with a display base with the LOTR log included. Of course both are hand painted to the highest standards which Sideshow is famous for.

Shipping Details:

All domestic orders will ship UPS Ground. The winning bidder of this Auction agrees to pay $19.95 for shipping & handling(insurance included)to anywhere in the continental United States. Alaska and Hawaii have additional shipping charges. For International shipping, please contact us for pricing information. Multiple auctions won may be combined at a reduced shipping charge. Some items due to their size and weight can not be combined.
For all US buyers, if your purchased items are damaged or lost during shipment, we will send all necessary documentation to file a claim with the specified carrier(UPS). *Shipping & Insurance charges are not refundable. We will gladly refund your purchase price after the specified carrier settles the claim.
For all international buyers, if your purchased items are damaged or lost during shipment, we will refund your purchase price only after the specified carrier(USPS)settles the claim. In some instances, when insurance is unavailable, we accept no responsibility for lost or damaged items.
