Item Description:

Inspired from George Lucas's original first film in the Star Wars Saga, A New Hope, we present Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker.
This Intricately detailed figure by Sideshow's Master, Matt Falls, along with an amazing group of artists & the Sideshow Design & Development Team, brings back to life another Star Wars iconic film character. His brilliantly sculpted likeness brings Mark Hamill's energetic young character to life as seen in Episode IV.
As our Saga begins, Princess Leia's ship is attacked and boarded by the ultimate villain, Darth Vader & Company, looking for stolen secret plans for the Evil Empire's mighty "Death Star" space station. Quick thinking Leia hides them in the memory banks of an astromech droid named R2-D2. She then jetisoned him & his counterpart, a protocol droid named C-3PO, aboard an escape pod down to the backwater planet of Tatooine. This escape was detected leaving the Empire with an exhausting search of the barren planet. Trudging through the scorching desert, the droids are soon discovered & stolen by Jawa's, who are notorious thieves & salvage merchants of hot goods. A Tatooine farmer, Owen Lars and his young stepson Luke Skywalker bargain for the pair of droids, feeling they may be of some use and maybe profitable. It's not long before the feisty droid R2-D2 makes his escape in search of Obi-Wan Kenobi to deliver his secret documents. Luke soon discovers his disappearance and sets out to find him with the help of C-3PO. Using his scanner he soon locates and catches the runaway droid. R2-D2's sensors quickly detects approaching danger to the trio. Luke's worst fears are confirmed as they are attacked by a band of savage Tusken Raiders(Sand People). As Luke lays unconscious, his landspeeder is raided and stripped for parts. The Raiders are then startled & retreat by the vicious sounds from an approaching dark hooded figure. The mysterious figure checks on the fallen Luke and removes his hidden visage revealing an older bearded man. Luke awakens to recognize him as the crazy old hermit Ben Kenobi. He reminds Luke that Sand People are easily scared off, but will soon return angrier than before, so they better get moving. Sadly, when they return to Luke's family farm, Stormtroopers had already arrived looking for the droids and destroyed everything in their path, including his stepparents. Loosing everything he had, Old Ben takes Luke under his wing and introduces him to the ways of the Jedi, the Force, and some family history. Little did Luke know that their chance meeting would begin a series of events that would save the Galaxy from certain destruction at the far reaching hands of the Evil Empire.
Luke stands in his fully detailed Tatooine Farming apparel, including his signature Karate style jacket, pants, banded boots, poncho, detailed belt with accessories, droid caller, electrobinoculars, vintage long rifle, lightsaber hilt, ignited lightsaber, along with multiple right & left hands for various display options. He comes complete with a 12" figure display base with the Star Wars logo. Luke is produced in a fully articulated body with 30+ points of articulation, capable of achieving nearly any position a Jedi can make. He comes packaged in a detailed double flap box with windowed displays.

All domestic orders will ship UPS Ground. The winning buyer agrees to pay $17.95 for shipping & handling(insurance included)to anywhere in the continental United States. Alaska and Hawaii have additional shipping charges. For International shipping, please contact us for pricing information. Multiple auctions won may be combined at a reduced shipping charge. Some items due to their size and weight cannot be combined.
For all US buyers, if your purchased items are damaged or lost during shipment, we will send all necessary documentation to the buyer to file a claim with the specified carrier(UPS). Shipping & Insurance charges are not refundable. We will gladly refund your purchase price after the specified carrier settles the claim.
