Antique German POLYPHON No.71G Music Box 14 Discs WORKS

OMG (Oh My Gosh)!!!  This GORGEOUS antique German POLYPHON No.71G still plays music i.e., it WORKS!  The sound is just amazing....and it comes with 14 old music discs.  Lots of spring still in the metal disc holder and the front windup lever works beautifully (don't overwind!). I wish I could bottle the beautiful, beautiful tinkling sound of the bells when it is played....reminds me of living in Germany.  AHHHH...:)   There are flaws on the 14" X 12" X 6 1/2" wood case...i.e., some varnish loss, scratches, no lock, pin holes in the wood case, and some loss of wood around bottom trim and where lock was.  So, if you are looking for the perfect case, this Polyphon is not it.  Also, as with any antique mechanical item it may need a tuneup, so you are buying it "as is".  Discs have three holes, a center 1/4" hole with a 1/16" hole on either side; titles (as best I could read titles) included in this LOT are:

NOTE:  This Polyphon will be packed carefully for a safe journey to the winning bidder with lots of styrofoam, peanuts and bubble wrap.  Insurance is included, however.

I'll let you know what I see, or know about an item....most of my pictures are taken outdoors so that you can easily determine for yourself the items' true condition. If your address has changed, or if you want the item shipped to a different address, you MUST change the address officially listed in both places. I do not charge a packing fee (I do it myself), however, handling fees can take into account the cost of insurance, tape, bubble wrap, styrofoam pellets/padding & other materials that may be necessary to ensure your treasure arrives safely. Insurance does not include the loss of an item after it is delivered. I do not offer insurance for out of country purchases or deliveries (note: I can provide a Customs #). Delivery Confirmation is sent with each US package for tracking purposes. I expect payment within 3 days of end of auction. I am an honest seller who expects buyers to be honest also. NOTE:    The smaller holes on either side of the 1/4" center hole on each disc is 3/16", not 1/16" (sorry, slip of the typing fingers).  Also, all discs, except the last one listed, are 9 5/8" diameter; the last disc listed is 11" diameter.
